Check out this dude! He is my man!
For those of you who know Joseph, my second son, you'll recognize him as the boy who will save the future president! That's according to his Tia Monica.
This little pup took all the the rest of my male DNA and is fast becoming a superhero.
Joseph's in first grade and loving it. The other day the high school wrestling coach came to call at Upland Terrace Elementary. He was recruiting his future wrestling team. Joseph jumped up to the front of the line at the meeting and demanded to be a "Little Eagle".
We signed him up for wrestling camp and I went to watch. They put him in a small group of boys his age and taught them some wrestling moves. At the second practice, they got to do some live wrestling. Being a former wrestler myself, I couldn't help but coach him.
"Go low Joseph!"
"Break him down like a table!"
"Pick his ankle!"
Everything I told him to do, he did, and he repeatedly took down all the boys in his group. He was king of the mountain and he enjoyed taking them down one by one at least 5 times each boy. Not one of the other boys ever got a take down on him. I was in heaven!
The cool thing is that I know a ton I can teach him. The key is not to burn him out! Long live the future champ!

Wow! Was that his first time wrestling? If so, that is awesome!
